Corfu Beaches
Agni : a unique cove slightly before Kalami which has
remained untouched. Two of the three tavernas are 100 years old
and have been there since the bay acted as a port of call for
boats which came to Corfu long before the road was built. It is
a lovely beach and there are a lot of opportunities for walking
in the region.
Roda : this beach is quite crowded, it is 38 kilometers
from Corfu town by the road that goes through the center of the
island, and the drive takes more than 1 hour.

Aharavi : to the east of Roda, it is a much quieter
beach. It is usually very windy there and the water feels colder
than elsewhere.

Sidari : 8 kilometers to the west of Roda. A beautiful
fine sandy beach, interspersed with rocky outcrops forming sea
cheannels which have earned it the name 'canal d'amour'.

Glyfada : a beautiful beach nestling between high rocks.
It is an attractive spot but it can be crowded since there is a
free bus from Pelekas.

Myrtiotissa : a little further from Glyfada, this is a
lovely beach. It is quite a walk to get there (no car access) so
not many people make the effort. You may also find nudists
there.
Agios Gordios : a lovely sandy beach to the south of
Sinarades. The view on arrival is magnificent : the blue of the
sea, the ochre of the cliffs soaring up from it and the distant
pyramid of rock rising from the water.

Agios Georgios : a long beach backed by some strange,
almost solid sand dunes, providing shade when it gets really
hot.

Kavos : on the southern tip of the island. A rather
crowded beach with many cafe-bars with swimming pools.
