A family-run business, Avlaki Taverna is the first restaurant in the area; it was founded by Spyros Mavronas in the summer of 1987 and it was run by him and his wife, Toula, in the most friendly, homelike way, for many years. In the beautiful island of Corfu in the village Nissaki (means Islet), 150 metres past the village church in the direction of Kassiopi, you will find the restaurant Roumeli. Roumeli restaurant is a family business and has been established in Corfu, offering genuine recipes of Roumeli cuisine. Certainly cuisine that all Greeks love: roasted meat and grills on charcoal kokoretsi, kontosouvli on the spit and of course chortopites.
